UNICEF was formed by the UN under the mission to provide emergency food and healthcare to children and mothers that had been devastated by armed conflicts. The brand wanted to raise awareness and highlight the difficulty of educating kids at schools affected by war and conflict ahead of the Third International Safe Schools Conference 2019 in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Imosion collaborated with Traffic to deliver an exhibit for UNICEF campaign "Class of No Tomorrow." The exhibit included an installation of three wooden sculptures carved using a large 3D CNC machine using debris from abandoned schools that were destroyed from targeted attacks in Iraq, Nigeria, South Sudan and Ukraine. These sculptures symbolized the innocent victims who lost their schools and rights to learn. The installation was placed in the baggage collection area in Palma De Mallorca Airport for the visitors of the Safe School Conference to see upon arrival.
The installation gained a massive amount of earned media and left thousands of outbound passengers stunned in Palma De Mallorca airport, where everyone passed through.
