Dubai Parks and Resorts, the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination, commissioned Imosion to create a 360 degree campaign aimed to inspire a sense of awe and wonder to drive engagement before their launch. Driven by captivating content developed and optimized for social media, influencers, PR, digital and on ground activation propelled the campaign, driving engagement and visibility. The campaign film achieved over 2 million video views and had over 25 media publications reporting the story nationwide and in key international markets.
The campaign centered around the destinations' beloved characters making their way to their new home at Dubai Parks and Resorts. The character’s arrival came as a pleasant surprise to the airport visitors who were delighted to see the faces of Shrek and the Smurfs from MOTIONGATE™ Dubai, Shah Rukh Khan (look alike) from Bollywood Parks™ Dubai and LEGO Man from LEGOLAND® Dubai. Social influencers from around the region met the characters at the airport terminal and contributed personal content on their social channels.
